The cleanup along Putah Creek was coordinated with both Yolo and Solano Counties and was part of the larger statewide effort by the California Coastal Commission and international effort by the Ocean Conservancy.
Many thanks to Vacaville Sanitary and Yolo County Waste Management for providing the trash bins and waiving disposal fees and the Lower Putah Creek Coordinating Committee and Rich Marovich for driving the "trash truck".
