Putah Creek Council is a grassroots non-profit organization that protects and enhances Putah Creek and its watershed through advocacy, education and community-based stewardship. Founded in 1988, the Council is widely recognized as an authority on the ecology and conservation of the Lower Putah Creek watershed.
Position Summary
The Putah Creek Council is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to run our newly acquired native plant nursery. It is a beautiful 75-acre ranch in the foothills below Lake Berryessa and along scenic Putah Creek. The Nursery Manager will report to the Executive Director. In this role, the Nursery Manager will be responsible for all managerial functions including hiring and training staff and volunteers, ordering stock, collecting seeds, marketing, managing accounts, and responding to customer inquiries. The position also requires growth and maintenance of native trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses. On-site housing options may be available.

Putah Creek Council has headquarters in downtown Winters, CA with a Native Plant Nursery located just outside of Winters, CA.
