Fall 2021 OneCreek Putah Creek Restoration Internship Now Accepting Applications

OneCreek InternshipAfter a successful summer internship season, Putah Creek Council is excited to host our internship program during the fall months. This program is popular among people looking to gain experience in habitat restoration and conservation fields. Providing hands-on experiences to participants, the internship creates connections between interns and representatives from local agencies within the Putah Creek Watershed. Working with experts in habitat restoration, native plant landscaping, outdoor recreation management, native plant propagation, and nursery operations, interns are offered an introduction to and receive basic hands-on experience and job training in these career paths. The internship meets twice weekly at various restoration sites within the Putah Creek Watershed and Putah Creek Council’s Native Plant Nursery.

OneCreek InternshipThe Fall 2021 Internship is set to run for ~8 weeks from early October to mid to late November.

Program participants will work under the supervision of Putah Creek Council staff to gain hands-on experience with plant care, planting, fieldwork, etc. This is an excellent experience to gain knowledge from meeting and working alongside other regional restoration professionals.
