Explore the fascinating world of the plants that call Putah Creek home, and discover plants’ special skills called adaptations. What’s an adaptation? Find out how they help plants survive through a game show and a scavenger hunt. Create your own plant with special talents that help them survive whether it’s hot, rainy or snowy! Get ready for Mother’s Day, by planting a native plant, and designing a pressed-flower card that will make great gifts. Join Putah Creek Council for free-form and hands-on educational activities and a volunteer stewardship opportunity at this drop-in event at Lake Solano Park. Earn your official Plant-palooza badge, and leave with free giveaways like a nature journal, and a native plant. No registration required!
