Join us on Saturday, October 14th from 9-12 for a native plant installation event in Mockingbird Park, a newly-adopted section of the North Davis Greenbelt adjacent to the North Davis Channel. The park is located between Mockingbird Place and Sandpiper Drive (Maps link). Davis community member Kathy McIntosh adopted the small park area and has been working to install a native plant garden. Putah Creek Council volunteers will be helping her to install several native species during this workday.
Please wear sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. No prior experience is needed and all are welcome!
Please do not attend any PCC volunteer event if you have had a COVID-19 exposure or are experiencing any COVID or cold/flu symptoms. For any questions about this event please contact Nicolle Herr (nicolle@putahcreekcouncil.org).
