Native Plant-a-thon at Pacific Flyway Pond

Great Valley Gumweed

Join us on December 2nd from 9:30AM-12:30PM to plant a variety of 100 native plants on the City of Woodland’s Pacific Flyway Pond (North Regional Pond). Plant a variety of native forbs and shrubs on Pacific Flyway Pond, a restoration site owned by the City of Woodland. There is potential to birdwatch a variety of species while we work. This is a collaborative project between Putah Creek Council and the Yolo Resource Conservation District.

Near Woodland Costco, Parking TBD based on weather

Please wear sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. This event is open to all community members regardless of skill and previous experience! We will teach you how to use the tools and the best method for planting. All ages are welcome, but a guardian is recommended for children under 13.
