Native Plant Nursery Cleanup

Join us on Saturday, April 29th from 10-1 for a cleanup of our native plant nursery. We pride ourselves on using sustainable nursery practices in our nursery, like using reusable plant containers. This means we have a lot of pot washing to do! Come help us wash and sanitize nursery pots so they can be used again and again. In an effort to contain plastic pollution on our property, we would also like to collect old plastic stakes and other debris left behind by the citrus nursery that used to operate on the property.

We will be providing lunch as a thank you for everyone’s efforts in cleaning up our nursery.

Please wear sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary equipment, water, and a lunch will be provided, but bring reusable gloves or buckets to collect trash if you have them to help us make this a zero/low waste event. No prior experience is needed and all are welcome!
