Native Tree Planting at UC Davis Riparian Reserve

March 11 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us on Saturday, March 4th at the UC Davis Riparian Reserve from 10am until 1pm. We will be working with Environmental Steward Miles DaPrato to improve native plant diversity of restoration areas within the Riparian Reserve. The exact project we will be working on is weather dependent and will be announced about one week before the event. Similarly, the precise meeting location will be dependent on the project we will be working on. The event will take place somewhere within the Riparian Reserve which runs south of UC Davis campus between Pedrick Road and Old Davis Road.

Please wear sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. Water, snacks, and all necessary equipment will be provided. No prior experience is needed and all are welcome! Meeting location: Near the intersection of Campbell Road and Garrod Drive. Parking is free on weekends in the spots along Garrod Drive. We will meet at the pinned location where there is an access gate to the restoration area.

Please do not attend any PCC volunteer event if you have had a COVID-19 exposure or are experiencing any COVID or cold/flu symptoms. For any questions about this event please contact Rachel Snodgrass (rachel@putahcreekcouncil.org).
