Plant Care Frenzy at Lake Solano Campsite

June 13 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Lake Solano Park volunteers

Join us on Thursday, June 13th for a workday at Lake Solano Campsite! We will be caring for native species that were planted ~5 years ago by removing old protective tubing, weeding, and applying fresh mulch. This is a collaborative project between Putah Creek Council, Solano Resource Conservation District, and Solano County Parks.

Please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. This event is open to all community members regardless of skill and previous experience! We will teach you how to use the tools and the best method for planting. All ages are welcome, but a guardian is required for children under 14 for safety reasons.

Please register below to receive all information and updates about this event.

Please do not attend any PCC volunteer event if you have had a COVID-19 exposure or are experiencing any COVID or cold/flu symptoms. For any questions about this event please contact Maddie Galal (maddie@putahcreekcouncil.org). All participants must sign a waiver, and attendees under age 18 must have a physical copy of our waiver signed by a guardian. You can access these and print them down below, or sign upon arrival.
