Trailblazers at Putah Creek South Fork Preserve

May 1 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us on Saturday, April 6th from 9:00AM-12PM for a workday of trail maintenance and weed control at Putah Creek’s South Fork Preserve. We will be finishing the single-track trail project to re-establish the trail footprint from encroaching vegetation. We will also be working to control invasive weeds along the trail corridor, in preparation for grazing. This is a collaborative project between Putah Creek Council and the City of Davis Putah Creek South Fork Preserve.

Please wear sturdy, waterproof shoes, weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended), a hat, and bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. No prior experience is needed, we will teach you! Participants for this particular event must be ages 14 or older due to equipment safety. There are no restroom facilities on site.

Please do not attend any PCC volunteer event if you have had a COVID-19 exposure or are experiencing any COVID or cold/flu symptoms. For any questions about this event please contact Maddie Galal (maddie@putahcreekcouncil.org). Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian.
