Wednesday, March 30, 2022, 9:00am- 12:00pm at PCC’s Native Plant Nursery at 3373 Sackett Lane Winters, CA 95694
We’re happy to invite you out to our new nursery site to work with other nature-minded people who are interested in plants and caring for our watershed. We’re just beginning to start production at our facilities, so nursery tasks will vary from day-to-day. Typically, they include transplanting, weeding, watering, trimming, pot washing, and other tasks as necessary.
Putah Creek Council grows a variety of native plants for use in our habitat enhancement project sites throughout the Putah Creek watershed.
All plants in the nursery are propagated from seeds and cuttings taken from plants growing in the Putah-Cache basin. All plants are propagated, transplanted, weeded, and otherwise cared for by community volunteers – just like you!
