Community Engagement Coordinator
Putah Creek Council has been a leader in supporting regional ecosystems through advocacy, education and community-based stewardship. We envision Putah Creek as a thriving corridor of native riparian and aquatic ecosystems connecting the Coast Ranges to the Sacramento River and the Delta. We envision a Putah Creek watershed community of people who value their creek and are committed to its stewardship.
Putah Creek Council is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to work with a wide range of people with the goal of thoughtfully connecting the public with the wonders of Putah Creek. The Community Engagement Coordinator is a public-facing, community-oriented leader responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a comprehensive community outreach and active engagement program, including recruiting, leading, and managing volunteers as well as a variety of communications to support PCC’s mission. They work closely and collaboratively with all staff.
This is a hybrid position combining office and field work – the successful applicant will be comfortable in both environments. Must be able to work up to 20 Saturdays per year.
