Join Putah Creek Council for a family Field Day at Lake Solano Park

Putah Creek Council is offering 20 free, family field days on Saturdays from 9 am- 12 pm at Lake Solano Park from September 2022 to June 2023. Build a water filter, listen for different bird songs, become part of a life-sized watershed, meet the water critters that call Putah Creek home, and more! Field days will consist of free-form activities including scavenger hunts, self-guided walks, crafts, building activities, and demonstrations.

Explore ten different topics, each offered twice over the 20 days, that will help you discover the importance of protecting our water. Attend one, or attend all ten! Collect a badge of the day for each topic. If you attend more than one Field Day, you’ll receive an official Creek Explorers Badge. All participants will receive a free nature journal and other fun giveaways.
