OneCreek

The OneCreek Putah Creek Restoration Program is an eight week program that provides hands-on experience within restoration projects in the Putah-Cache Watershed.

Popular among people looking to explore the environmental restoration field, this program creates connections between our seasonal technicians and representatives from local agencies to learn about California native plants, best management practices, and ongoing projects.

Working with experts in habitat restoration, native plant landscaping, outdoor recreation management, native plant propagation, and nursery operations, technicians are offered an introduction to and receive basic hands-on experience and job training in these career paths.

OneCreek meets twice weekly for eight weeks at various restoration sites within the Putah Creek Watershed and Putah Creek Council’s Native Plant Nursery. There are multiple cohorts throughout the year.

The OneCreek Putah Creek Restoration Program works with partners at the UC Davis Riparian Reserve, Solano County Water Agency, Solano Resource Conservation District, City of Davis Open Space, Yolo County Resource Conservation District, Solano County Parks, and many more to provide a well rounded experience focused on habitat enhancement and restoration in the Putah Cache Watershed.
